Boot Beer Festival

Boot Beer Festival is a great event for all the family, ride up on the la'al Ratty railway, visit Brook House Inn and sample a beer or two then wonder up to The Boot Inn, where non drinkers could visit the working watermill and the Kids can enjoy themselves at the Boot Inn play area. Next take the path upto the Woolpack and sample the delightful beers available at one of the most remote pubs in the Lake District. A short walk down the road brings you back to the station.
Alternatively get a load of mates together, hire a minibus and con someone into driving! Better still dig the tent out blag Friday off work and come for 3 nights of superb beer in a wonderful part of the lakes, you could even do some walking (even if it is only between the pubs) Friday and Saturday nights are busy at all 3 venues so booking a table for dinner is always a good idea.

Brook House Inn
Brook House Inn will have 10 beers available at any one time over the festival with 25-35 in total, this year there will be 3 real ciders, perries and several strong ales at over 6%. The very successful Black Pudding Bonanza will be on again this year with a choice of at least 5 different puddings and accompaniments. The Boot Inn
The Boot Inn will have over 30 beers for the festival, with FIRE AND ICE playing rock music on Friday night with a fish and chip supper also available. The Boot Inn has an outdoor childrens play area and a conservatory for families. For More Information about Boot Inn Click Here

The Woolpack Inn
The Woolpack now with its own brewery will have at least 25 beers over the festival. bands will be playing on Saturday night with food being served from Daves' Carnival kitchen in the marquee, expect flaming flambes and other hot action, including music from Saturday afternoon onwards, the main feature being VORTIGERN.
